I have been a part of our local voluntary group.

The Monaghan woman acknowledged that everyone with MS is different and “no two people with MS will have the same journey”. “It was overwhelming. MS is so unpredictable so I can’t say because you have certain symptoms, that you have it. I would advise people with any concerns to go chat with their GP and don’t put it off. I put it off for five years and I shouldn’t have.”

Orla admitted that it can be very difficult dealing with symptoms when they’re not visible like some other disabilities.
