Maura Higgins is making it big in America, after joining the US series of Love Island as a social ambassador.Well, maybe as a new Love Island spin-off has just been announced – an all-star edition, The Love Island Games. This cheeky new iteration will see Islanders faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling and dramatic new arrivals.
Well, as a contestant that is, but Maura seems fairly happy to host. The series was only officially confirmed, so little is known about The Love Island Games and there is no word on who will be fronting the series. But we’ve picked up on a few hints Maura might be the hostess with the mostest for the spin-off.Firstly the spin-off is produced by ITV Entertainment, an ITV America company, the same company Maura currently works with as social ambassador for Love Island USA.
The new series will include former contestants from the UK, Australian, and US editions of the reality series, but each has a different host. With Maya Jama fronting the UK series, Sarah Hyland hosting the American version, and Sophie Monk at the helm of the Australian edition.
