Are the 'world famous' Swedish pancakes famous for a reason?

I had heard murmurs about this establishment’s “world famous” Swedish pancakes over the years but had never ventured inside. Before Sears Fine Food ended up on Powell Street, owners Hilda and Ben Sears first opened a restaurant in San Luis Obispo in 1924. Their signature dish was “dollar size little pancakes,” a recipe inherited from Hilda’s Swedish family. In 1950, they patented their Sears Pancake Mix.
