Government officials have warned against complacency in the fight against Covid-19, saying the disease "hasn't gone away."
Liz Canavan, Assistant Secretary General to the Department of the Taoiseach, issued the caution during a press briefing this morning.“It’s still vital that we avoid becoming complacent, most of us have settled into routines of once again seeing our friends, colleagues and families and in some ways it would be easy to think everything has returned to normal.
