The show will be celebrating 50 years of the Community Games in Ireland with three of Ireland’s sporting stars who started perfecting their skills in the competition – rugby star Tommy Bowe, world champion walker Olive Loughnane and former Republic of Ireland international Niall Quinn.
Also on the show will be Norah Casey, who is one of Ireland’s most successful and best-known businesswomen. After years of keeping it secret, Norah will, for the first time, speak openly about the violence she suffered in her first marriage. She’ll reveal the years of abuse and assaults she endured before escaping and rebuilding her life, her career and finding love with her second husband, the late Richard Hannaford.
Paul Burrell was Princess Diana’s butler for a decade until her death almost 20 years ago. He will join Ryan to give viewers the inside track on the royals, what it was like to work for the most famous woman in the world and what was going on in those final few months of her life. Almost 60 years ago, Irish-born Paula Douglas was taken to America by her adoptive parents. It wasn’t until many years later when she saw Philomena that she began to question the circumstances around her own adoption. With no clues to her true identity, she will appear on the show tonight to share her story in the hope that someone watching might be able to shed light on her birth.with legends of the Irish scene Big Tom and Margo in studio to perform their new duet ‘Through the Years’.
