It's Time To Enter Magdalena Bay Autumn alternative pop duo made up of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin are having a moment.
We all had a great time doing the Apple dance, smudging our eyeliner, and of course, bumpin’ that. But now, it’s time to move on.Others have tried to resurrect brat from its neon green grave. But here at STELLAR, we’re fairly convinced that it is, in fact, Magdalena Bay autumn.Their second album, Imaginal Disk, was released last month, and it’s already making waves – particularly on the internet, where the pair first gained recognition back in 2019.
It’s ethereal, upbeat, futuristic, and an undeniably ideal listen when you’re wandering around the city streets with a slight heavy jacket on, shielding your eyes from the autumn sun, generally contemplating modern life. The band will make you feel nostalgic for a time you probably didn’t experience, existential over a life that’s actually going okay, and optimistic for a future that might already be here.Magdalena Bay’s upcoming Irish show in the Button Factory is unfortunately sold out, but we know we’ll be keeping a close eye on any resale tickets.
