Coronation Street fans were left in tears as they watched Paul Foreman become trapped in his own home after a visit from a nurse
Coronation Street viewers were left heartbroken on Wednesday as Paul Foreman faced another tragic setback. Diagnosed with motor neurone disease last year, Paul's health has been rapidly declining in recent months.
Despite Paul's feeble protestations that he "was fine", the nurse was quick to dismiss him, stating, "No Paul, it's dangerous". Bernie Winter then suggested they could manually assist Paul up and down the stairs. She also voiced concerns about how her son would evacuate the property in case of a fire.
"We can't just lug him up and down the stairs like a sack of potatoes", Billy remarked, attempting to console his husband. The nurse confirmed that Paul couldn't leave the house until he moved into a property adapted for his medical needs.
