BREAKING: ITV has issued a new statement
ITV have spoken out on claims that they knew Phillip Schofield was having an affair with a younger male colleague as it insists that it investigated "rumours of a relationship" - but the pair "repeatedly denied" the affair.
However, accusations have been floating around that ITV must have known about the affair between their lead presenter and a younger colleague. Former presenter Eamonn Holmes added fuel to the fire by tweeting "Schofield has finally been caught out".
