BREAKING: Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr subpoenaed by New York attorney general in civil investigation
Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr have been subpoenaed by the New York State attorney general’s office ’s children Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr have been subpoenaed by the New York State attorney general’s office as part of a civil investigation into Trump Organization business practices.
James’ office has already questioned former President Trump’s third eldest child, Eric Trump, in October 2020. James’ civil investigation looks into whether the ex-president fraudulently inflated his business assets in order to reduce taxes owed and land favorable bank loans. Her office has obtained numerous documents in the inquiry and has probed several Trump Organization properties.
The legal filing revealing the new subpoenas was signed by a judge who oversaw a previous court action brought by James’ office forcing Eric to testify and the Trump Organization to submit business records.
