The Jaguars rolled out their second wave of roster cuts of the NFL preseason.

The first round of cuts included third-string quarterback Jake Luton, a bit of a surprise move by Jacksonville as he worked as the team's primary backup QB throughout much of camp with C.J. Beathard sidelined with a groin injury for a healthy portion of it. The move, head coach Doug Pederson said at the time, gave Luton an opportunity to latch on elsewhere.

Perry earned his first in-game action with the Jaguars last Saturday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He completed 6 out of 11 of his passes for 92 yards and one interception on the night. However, he does not count against the team's roster limit and will be carried on the roster throughout the remainder of camp. After final cuts, the team will have the option of adding Oyelola on the practice squad through the season as a practice-squad exemption.
