Nottinghamshire sign New Zealand seamer Jacob Duffy for the last two County Championship matches as they battle to stay in the first division.

The 30-year-old, who has earned 14 T20 and six one-day international caps for his country, has taken 293 first-class wickets across his 12-year professional career. Duffy joins Notts for their final two red-ball matches this season, with the East Midlands side third from bottom in the table, 10 points head of Lancashire in the second relegation spot, going into their current game against Essex.
"Jacob is an exciting signing at a crucial time in the season for us," Notts head coach Peter Moores toldThe New Zealander will make his Notts debut against his former side next week, with the final match of the season at home against Warwickshire, starting on 26 September. "He’s got experience under his belt, and his skillset and time spent in England previously means he has the ability to make a difference in our remaining two games," Moores said.
