Jada Pinkett Smith says she was very grateful that Will stood up for her when he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.
After telling the world that she and Will Smith have been separated for the last seven years, meaning that they weren’t together during the“Did some really deep work together” after he hit Chris Rock on stage at the ceremony when the comedian made a joke about her being bald.

“I thought, ‘This is a skit.’ I was like, ‘There’s no way that Will hit him.’ It wasn’t until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realised it wasn’t a skit,” she wrote.
