Sancho sent Dortmund on their way with a brilliant opening goal Jadon Sancho thanked Borussia Dortmund for ‘believing’ in him after sending the German giants through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Dortmund were held to a 1-1 draw away at PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of their last 16 clash but Sancho’s goal after just three minutes saw them tighten their grip on the tie on Wednesday night.
Sancho has scored twice since returning to Dortmund on loan ‘I’ve got to be grateful to them, but also to my team-mates, just for believing in me. I’m just happy that we got the win today. ‘Coming into the game, we knew it was going to be tough, but I felt like coming into this game, we always had the advantage because we’re playing in front of our home fans.
