Federal prosecutors have said that the video in question no longer exists
The surveillance video of disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein’s first suicide attempt was"deleted", according to federal prosecutors.
A few weeks ago news emerged that the video in question was"missing", and it has now transpired that the Metropolitan Correctional Center where Epstein was being held mistakenly kept video feed from the wrong"area of the jail". As a result, federal prosecutors have said in a court filing that this means that the video in question"no longer exists".
The attorney had been looking for the footage since an alleged suicide attempt by Epstein in the Metropolitan Correctional Center on 23 July.
