The podcaster and TV presenter swapped big-city life in Dublin for the beauty of Kilkenny earlier this year, and is updating and renovating his new home and garden

The TV host and podcaster moved to the region earlier this year with his long-term partner William Murray, an artist and trained chef.

Speaking to the Irish Independent around the time of the move, James said: “William and I kind of honed in on the fact that we wanted to live in the countryside. “I’m fortunate because I’m not being driven away from Dublin, but even if I wanted to live here, I couldn’t afford it.”The social media personality shared that when they first moved, they were given gifts of a number of trees by loved ones, and are just getting around to planting them now.
