With the countdown on to the start of this year’s Open House Festival in Bangor, organisers have announced a final and very special guest to close this year’s event.

Colin Bateman is one of the country’s most respected authors and screenwriters, having written more than 30 novels, a recently published memoir, Thunder and Lightning, and several high- profile television and film scripts. “But beyond that he’s just a great actor and a genuinely nice guy, and I think the Bangor Open House audience will love him.”

“It’s a real coup for us to secure James Nesbitt as a guest,” said Open House director, Kieran Gilmore.
