The House Jan. 6 committee is planning to wind down public hearings without receiving testimony from former President Donald Trump or his top associates.

Fox News State Department correspondent Rich Edson covers potential criminal charges against former President Trump in the wake of the Jan. 6 committee and DOJ investigations on "Special Report."

The committee will try to recreate the former president's state of mind leading up to and during the riot, despite his refusal to cooperate with the committee. Trump has not only rejected overtures to testify before the panel, but he has called on allies and former staffs to do likewise.
