The former cruise ship singer has shared plans to pay special tributes during her upcoming tour
Jane McDonald has shared her plans to pay tribute to lost loved ones as she prepares to tour the UK once again.
The 61-year-old discussed how she faced the devastating loss of both her partner Eddie Rothe and her mother in recent years. She said: “You have to find your way of dealing with it, it’s not easy. Eddie died in March 2021 following a battle with lung cancer. He briefly dated Jane when they were teenagers but they parted ways after a few months of dating and didn’t see each other again until the couple reunited in 2008 where the relationship quickly picked back up. Her mum Jean died years earlier in 2018. Discussing paying tribute to Eddie and her mum on her upcoming tour, Jane revealed: “I wrote a secondary song for my mother. I wrote a song called ‘The Hand That Leads Me’ which is going to be a weeping moment in the show.
