Jay Slater's heartbroken mum Debbie Duncan has broken her silence on claims her son had 'stolen a £12,000 Rolex watch' before his disappearance in Tenerife.

Debbie said: "He would never have been involved in anything like that. The Spanish Civil Guard said Mr Slater could have fallen in the steep and inaccessible area where he was discovered. Earlier this month, the teenager was laid to rest during a 'celebration of his life' at Accrington Crematorium.
