A Jefferson County man is charged with sexual torture of a boy.
An east Jefferson County man is behind bars, accused of sexually assault a young boy nearly a decade ago.
James Wayne McLemore, 49, was booked into the Jefferson County Jail this week. Jail records indicate McLemore is charged with three counts of first-degree sodomy involving a boy under the age of 12 and three counts of sexual torture of a child under the age of 12. Charging documents against McLemore state the alleged abuse happened in 2013. It involved the sexual abuse of a young boy with an inanimate object.
