BREAKING: A new report has exposed that prison guard negligence, misconduct and performance failures led Jeffrey Epstein to kill himself in his jail cell.

Prison guard negligence, misconduct and performance failures ledSevere staffing shortages and shortcomings in managing inmates at risk of suicide were found in Epstein’s case, according to theNew York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center, where the late financier was held, had issues maintaining functioning security cameras and there was a ‘widespread disregard of Federal Bureau of Prisons policies and procedures, the report states.

Epstein hanged himself under BOP custody in 2019 while awaiting his trial for sex trafficking charges. The report stated that it and previous evaluations have ‘repeatedly identified long-standing operational challenges at the BOP that negatively affect its ability to operate institutions safely and securely’.

Inspector General Michael Horowitz stated: ‘While we determined MCC New York staff engaged in significant misconduct, we did not uncover evidence contradicting the FBI’s determination there was no criminality in connection with how Epstein died.’
