The former legal adviser to President Donald Trump claimed the Dobbs opinion was intentionally leaked"to create a pressure campaign" in Congress. Chief Justice John Roberts ordered an investigation by the marshal of the court on Tuesday to learn how the draft order was published. He confirmed the leaked draft was"authentic" but stressed it does"not represent a decision by the Court." The Supreme Court's work"will not be affected in any way" by the leak, Roberts said, noting it was a"singular and egregious breach" intended to sow distrust among the"community of public servants who work here."The document leaked on Monday night and was referred to as a draft opinion by an unnamed"person familiar with the court's proceedings."
