"We had already been throwing out so many ideas and I’m somebody who’s very hands-on. I want to know what’s going on and I think with a character like Wednesday, who is so beloved and such a legend, I just really didn’t want to get her wrong," Ortega explained."So, I think I try to have as many conversations as possible. Really, on set, with the writers and Tim [Burton], we just all kind of would get together.
"So I think that in preparation for a second season, we wanted to get ahead of the curve and make sure that we could start the conversations earlier.Jenna Ortega will be a producer on Wednesday season 2 Speaking about what fans can expect from season two of Wednesday, Ortega told Fanning:"I just got a couple of the outlines for the first couple of episodes so it's still very much coming together."Because it is so lighthearted and I think a show like this with vampires and werewolves and superpowers, you don’t want to take yourself too seriously.
"So, I think that we're kind of ditching any romantic love interest for Wednesday, which is really great."
