JeremyRenner suffered 'extensive' injuries and lost 'serious amount of blood' in horrific snow plowing accident
A spokesperson for the actor told the outlet on Sunday that Renner was in “critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today.”then reported that Renner had suffered “extensive” injuries in the horrific accident.
The star reportedly lost “a serious amount of blood” after his plowing machine, called a Snowcat, “accidentally ran over” one of his legs. Other parts of his body have allegedly been injured in the accident, as well. The publication claimed Renner had been “plowing the road about a quarter mile from his Tahoe home so his family could get out after a massive New Year’s eve storm.”A neighbour, who is a doctor, “was able to put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived,”Sergeant Kristin Vietti of Washoe County Sheriff’s had previously toldthat police “responded to a traumatic injury in the area of Mt. Rose Highway in Reno, Nevada” at 9 a.m.
Vietti said, “The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team is currently looking into the circumstances of the incident.” Along with starring in the Marvel films, Renner also leads the series “The Mayor of Kingstown”, which returns for season 2 on Jan. 15.
