Marvel star Jeremy Renner was 'trying to save nephew' in snowplough accident
"Once he was off the Pistenbully, he realised it was heading directly toward [his nephew]. He feared the Pistenbully was going to hit [his nephew], so he decided to attempt to stop or divert the Pistenbully," the report continued, adding that the actor had been pulled under the snowplough's track while attempting to re-enter the driver's cab.
Following the accident, Renner's nephew assisted him on the roadside before the actor was airlifted to hospital. He sustained, which required surgery and treatment in an intensive care unit. The report also noted that"mechanical issues" may have been a factor in the incident but ruled out impairment.
