Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb tosses the ball to a teammate on a double reverse on the opening drive against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their season opener at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, September 11, 2022.FRISCO – Depending on how you took the comments from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and head coach Mike McCarthy on Friday, there were two people put on notice: Kellen Moore and CeeDee Lamb.

Part of the change in the Cowboys’ offense is Lamb moving into the No. 1 spot at wide receiver and struggling to make two catches while being targeted 11 times in Week 1.he grew frustrated with the lack of results “People are covering your best receiver,” Jones told The Fan. “That happens. What do you do? You’ve got to play through being covered. You’ve got to catch balls covered. You say, ‘Well that’s a trite thing to say.’ But you can’t just because you’re covered up not make some plays.”

Lamb is in a bounce-back mode for Week 2 as Moore tries to get more production not only from him but also from running back Tony Pollard and receivers Noah Brown and Dennis Houston.
