The LS831 flight landed back in Manchester after a delayed take-off
A Jet2 flight to Majorca suddenly diverted and returned back to Manchester Airport just an hour after taking off on Sunday morning .
Jet2 said the flight was diverted due to 'unforeseen operational reasons' and that the airline was 'doing everything they can' to minimise disruption to passengers.The flight path according to FlightRadar shows how the plane, which was heading south towards the Spanish island, turned over Stoke-on-Trent at 10,000 feet before looping over the Peak District and then returning to Manchester.
