Goodwin reckons the BBC have missed a trick despite clear reasoning from the BBC for leaving it off air.
Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin believes Scottish football has missed a trick by not televising their top of the table Championship clash with Raith Rovers
Goodwin confirmed: “I know that the BBC have a certain number of games that they can choose over the course of a season. I think it would have been a good one for TV. No doubt it would have been a great advert for the Championship – two good sides, two attacking teams. It would have been a good game to broadcast, but it is what it is. I prefer to have it on a Saturday at 3 o’clock anyway.”
He explained: "Raith Rovers have done brilliantly; recruited really well and with a good injection of finance. "You can see they’ve been able to bring in a really good quality of player. Rovers boss Murray is no stranger to Goodwin as he was also his boss at St Mirren. Goodwin added: “We worked together for a brief period, and he’s gone on to do great. He’s taken a few bumps along the way – as we all do in this game – and got his opportunity in the Premiership with St Mirren.
