‘I’m asking the Justice Department that, much like they did in the Civil Rights era, to do everything in their power to protect these women seeking to invoke their rights,’ Biden said from the White House on Friday afternoon. He called on women and Americans to elect more Congress members in the November midterm elections who will back federal legislation to protect abortion access.
