Former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is poised to return to the dugout just a few short months after he made an unexpected early exit from Stamford Bridge
Joe Cole believes Mauricio Pochettino 's Chelsea frustrations were clear in the weeks before the manager left Stamford Bridge, despite overcoming a tough start to finish sixth in his one Premier League season.
Chelsea acted quickly to appoint Pochettino's successor, and Enzo Maresca has a big task ahead. While the London side also made a number of managerial changes during Cole's playing career, thr 42-year-old believes this situation is a little different. "And the way he finished the season, I think he'll be very happy with what he's done. With all those injuries, all of those players, trying to bed them in under that duress, and to get to the top five, top six and cup final, good."Cole spent seven years on Chelsea's books as a player, playing under Claudio Ranieri, Avram Grant, Luiz Felipe Scolari and Guus Hiddink as well as Mourinho and Ancelotti.
