Joe O'Shea: 'We seriously need to talk about Irish men and their fashion choices'
There’s a lot to unpack, as they say, but the one thing you’d have to say is that we are letting the ladies down big-time.
It’s pure mad. Look at the average crowd in a trendy pub or club on a Saturday night and it’s like the girls from Made In Chelsea are hanging out from the crew who came straight from throwing up an extension for Dermot Bannon. Now, I’m not claiming to be up there with Murphy or McGregor – but one thing that was bate into me growing up was “We Don’t Leave The House Without Looking Our Best”.
As one Tipp fan who had risen at the dawn to travel two hours from Nenagh for the game texted me; “It’s a long way to travel for feck-all - Ya Rebel feckers” . In fairness, after 20 hours of torrential rain yesterday, Cork’s Plan B Stadium – the normally lovely Pairc Ui Rinn - wasn’t great for hurling but made a world-class Olympic Swimming Pool.
