‘Hold On Tight’ is the first release of 2019 for Dublin singer-songwriter Siobhan Lynch, AKA Baba. It is a powerful song which will speak to anyone who has struggled with their mental health, something Siobhan has experienced herself.
She's blessed with a classic pop voice, which is almost a throwback to the '50s and '60s and it contributes here to what is a very catchy tune. It's a positive song, a call to anyone feeling low, to hang on in there. With this track, Lynch not only hopes to be able to keep the conversation about mental health active but also help those facing the struggle to open themselves up and seek the help available.
“Sometimes, when you’re so swamped by your feelings, you can’t see the wood for the trees,” she says.
