Joel and Ellie are in a fight against raiders in a Last Of Us episode 4 clip.
In a newly released The Last of Us clip from next week's episode 4, Joel and Ellie fight off violent raiders. The popular new HBO horror drama series centers on the relationship between survivors Joel and Ellie as they trek across a post-apocalyptic United States teeming with grotesque zombified humans who have been transformed by a deadly fungal plague.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY While a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Pascal shared a clip from The Last of Us episode 4 which shows Joel and Ellie facing off with raiders. Pinned down by incoming gunfire from unseen assailants, Joel and Ellie face certain death if they don't act fast. Being the consummate protector that he is, Joel provides cover fire for Ellie to escape through a hole in a nearby wall. Unfortunately, this leaves the two separated and forces Ellie to fend for herself while Joel must escape his attackers.
The Last of Us episode 4 trailer teases the next leg on Joel and Ellie's arduous journey, highlighting Ellie's lack of life experience as she misreads a road map and leads them directly into an ambush within Kansas City. The new clip appears to take place in the middle of that ambush with Joel and Ellie taking cover behind Bill's pickup truck.
Modeled after the wild Hunter group from the original video game, episode 4 will feature the group with a leader by the way of Kathleen , a character written specifically for the show. With her is the rebel Perry, portrayed by Frank Murray who was the original voice actor and performance artist for Tommy in The Last of Us video game. With episode 4 only days away, audiences do not have to wait much longer to see how Joel and Ellie fare against the massive militaristic survivor faction.
