Joey Essex's glam grandma cheered him on from the audience
Dancing On Ice fans were in awe as they spotted Joey Essex’s nan proudly watching him perform during Sunday night’s live final.
But it was Joey’s nan Linda - who raised Joey following the death of his mum, Tina, when he was just 10 - who got fans talking after they saw her supporting him backstage. A third admirer commented: "WOW she's beautiful," as a fourth gushed: "They're such a beautiful family." Christopher Dean joked Essex had taught him patience during the competition, adding: “Tonight, I think it was an amazing performance but also it was a Herculean performance and it was from zero to hero tonight.”
