Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman has won the state's Democratic primary for U.S. Senate just days after suffering a stroke.
HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- John Fetterman will win the Pennsylvania Democratic Senate primary, ABC News projects, capping a bizarre final few days of the campaign after the lieutenant governor suffered a stroke last week.

"It's one device. It gets put in under the skin. It does both things: pacemaker function and defibrillator function. The former treats slow heart rhythms and the latter treats life-threatening fast heart rhythms," said Cooper. "Usually this is not a discussion that we have when somebody simply has atrial fibrillation or has a stroke. So, there might be some other factors that we are not aware of that led his doctors to feel this was appropriate," said Cooper.
