Hayes received a two-year suspended sentence and Kiely said he will be moving on from the incident.
Limerick manager John Kiely has said that he and Kyle Hayes are looking to the future after the player received a two-year suspended sentence.
Speaking at the launch of the Munster Championships in Cahir, Co Tipperary, Kiely said: "I'm glad that it has come to an end. Very much looking towards the future now. I know Kyle is looking towards the future as well and pushing on. That's it really. Just glad that it has come to a conclusion." Kiely was present in court in January to act as a character witness for Hayes but drew a distinction between supporting the player and condoning his actions.
