He said: “We spent Christmas 2021 together and it just seemed like this isn’t the right thing to do — her dad hates me, she’s gonna say no, I’m going to ruin their whole Christmas, the audacity of this Dublin lad to walk in to Kilcullen on our first Christmas together to get down on one knee!”
