Richard Johnson believes Galopin Des Champs and Constitution Hill will be very difficult to beat at the Cheltenham Festival - but sees good each-way value in both the Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle .
The four-time champion jockey likes the look of Royale Pagaille, who is as big as 100/1 for the Gold Cup, while he has pleaded with trainer Jeremy Scott to run last year's Mares' Novices' Hurdle winner Golden Ace in the Champion Hurdle rather than the Mares' Hurdle, for which she is a best-priced 40/1.
"There's a horse in the Champion Hurdle - Golden Ace, a mare. I saw Jeremy Scott recently and I said, 'please run her in the Champion Hurdle,' I said, 'I think she'll be second, I think you'll finish third'. At 66/1, I don't think she'll stay in the Mare's Race and as I said, I think the Mares race will be more competitive than the Champion Hurdle but yeah, that's the only one I think, for the Champion Hurdle.
