The pair are among five people that have been charged in connection with the Friends star's death, after he turned to unscrupulous doctors who provided him with the powerful horse tranquilliser when he fell back into addiction last autumn.
A physician and a woman infamously known as "the ketamine queen" are set for a joint trial next year over the death of Friends icon Matthew Perry , according to a judicial decree.
His trial date is scheduled for March 4 next year, as decreed by District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett, based on court papers accessed by the PA news desk. Plasencia will share the dock with purported drug trafficker Jasveen Sangha dubbed by law enforcement as "the ketamine queen" who allegedly exchanged ketamine worth $11,000 for cash with Perry.
Meanwhile, Sangha also entered a plea of not guilty on charges of conspiracy to distribute ketamine; maintaining a drug-related premise; possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine; possession with intent to distribute ketamine, along with five counts of distributing the substance.
