Some people watching the Netflix film, You People, have already said there's a lack of chemistry between Jonah Hill and Lauren London. But, it’s now claimed that their kiss in the movie wasn’t even real and was actually CGI!
At the very end of You People, the closing shot shows Ezra and Amira sharing a kiss at their wedding as confetti falls around them. It’s the only time they properly kiss in the film with the other occasions showing the couple hugging or kissing on the cheek.Speaking on the latest episode of his podcast Brilliant Idiots, which he hosts with Charlamagne, Andrew said: ‘I don’t know if I should share this here, but in the final scene of You People, they don’t even kiss. It’s CGI.
Andrew’s comments have gone viral with many reacting on Twitter and using it to back-up their argument over the casting of Jonah, 39, and Lauren, 38, as well as criticism of the script.Sharing their view, one Twitter user said: ‘Controversial opinion : But if Lauren didn’t feel comfortable enough to kiss Jonah Hill then why did she go forth with this movie like she should’ve just not sign on if she’s not ready to have “on screen” partners.
One viewer is convinced the CGI claim is true and said: ‘Andrew Schulz ain’t lying tho lmfao … @ the end when Lauren London kiss Jonah Hill their lips do this weird CGI morphing together if you pay attention.Sharing their thoughts on the chemistry between Jonah and Hill overall, one commented: ‘Jonah Hill & Lauren London had no chemistry on screen too. Where kisses should’ve been was replaced with hugs in the movie. Felt awkward.
