Jonnie Irwin 'removes himself' from family home to stay in hospice amid cancer battle
Jonnie Irwin revealed he has to “remove himself” from his family home and spends time in a hospice as he copes with terminal cancer.
Speaking in a new interview, the TV star admitted he has been forced to spend time in a hospice to deal with his pain after the treatment abroad. As the father-of-three has kept his cancer diagnosis from his young children, he said sometimes he has to 'remove himself' from his home and his family when the suffering becomes too much to bear.
The father of three only went public with his illness in November 2022, almost two and a half years after his diagnosis. He has previously told how he kept his condition private for such a long time because he “needed money” and therefore had to keep working while undergoing treatment.
