Jordan Poole is coming off a breakout season and is extension eligible, while in the midst of dealing with fallout from a practice altercation with Draymond Green. But that incident doesn't change anything from the Golden State Warriors point of view on extensions talks.

"It doesn’t change our feelings on it,” Warriors GM Bob Myers said. Myers also added that Golden State remains in contact with Poole's agent on extension talks. Warriors star Stephen Curry defended Poole, while also saying Green remains a big part of the team defending their NBA title. “JP’s been great,” Curry said. “There’s nothing that warranted the situation yesterday. I want to make that clear. It’s also something we feel like will not derail our season and what we’re trying to build. That’s with Draymond a part of that.”
