The 61-year-old sang about freedom in a week that saw two cartel gangsters locked up as the Kinahan mob continues to lose its positioning as the largest criminal organisation in Ireland
A video of a jubilant Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch dancing and singing about freedom has emerged – during a week from hell for the Kinahan cartel.
Hutch, who last year was sensationally acquitted of the Regency Hotel murder of Kinahan cartel associate David Byrne, is seen in the clip belting out the words “Hey baby, let the free birds fly” with a massive grin on his face. It also reveals that tensions from the bitter Kinahan-Hutch feud, which claimed 18 lives, have clearly significantly simmered down.
Since that time, he has openly been spotted in public in Dublin, and back at his favourite holiday destination in Lanzarote.
