The jury in the trial of Jozef Puska for the murder of Ashling Murphy has retired to resume its deliberations.
He said if they thought it was reasonably possible that a"third man" had inflicted the injuries on Ms Murphy then Mr Puska had not committed any crime.
They would have to decide whether he intended to kill or cause serious injury. He clarified that serious injury means creating a substantial risk that the victim may die.
