Attendance numbers at the Leinster clash were staggeringly low.

Just 21,445 attended Dublin's Leinster Football Championship win over Meath on Sunday, it has been confirmed.

The paltry number is a far cry from attendances in the early 2000s with the stadium just over a quarter-full for the clash. And The Sunday Game pundit Ciaran Whelan was harsh on the state of affairs after the game, saying: "There was always going to be a product to the new system and the byproduct is that the provincial championships don't mean as much as they used to mean.
