The return of Simmons, who suffered a quad injury in Week 1 in Seattle, will be a boost to a Denver defense that’s been largely dominant through the first five weeks. While Simmons has talked all along about returning in time for the upcoming primetime matchup at SoFi Stadium, head coach Nathaniel Hackett indicated Dulcich’s NFL debut would be less immediate.
