After helping the Astros win two World Series since arriving in 2017, Justin Verlander has agreed to a free-agent deal with the Mets.
The ageless ace is in agreement with the New York Mets on a two-year contract,Multiple reports indicated the deal is for $86 million and includes a third-year vesting option. Verlander will turn 40 in February.
