Ahead of the celebrity reveals for the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars, bosses have today announced esteemed professional dancer Karen Byrne is joining the judging panel
The two-time winner and professional dancer will sit at the top table with long-standing judges Loraine Barry, Brian Redmond and Arthur Gourounlian when the hit show returns to our screens in January.

Having been lucky enough to win it twice and working with all my incredible dance partners, it will feel strange sitting on the other side of the desk.
Head judge Loraine commented: "I’m thrilled to be heading into season eight of Dancing with the Stars especially as we welcome the two-time champion Miss Karen Byrne to the judging panel. Karen is fresh off the dance floor into the judging seat and I look forward to working with her."
