Karen Gillan has revealed she totally regrets not making a Doctor Who reference during Avengers: Endgame.
The Marvel actress, 34, first rose to prominence for playing Amy Pond in the beloved BBC show, alongside Matt Smith’s 11th Doctor.
Since playing the fan-favourite companion, Karen’s career has gone from strength to strength, having also starred alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Kevin Hart in Jumanji. Her addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Nebula has seen her appear in several of the franchise’s films, including, most recently, Avengers: Endgame.
One scene in the famously devastating film sees the heroes attempt to figure out the rules of time travel, naming several TV shows and films where the characters travel in time.On Saturday, Karen took to Twitter where she admitted she was ‘haunted’ by her decision not to make a Doctor Who reference during the scene.
Sharing the original tweet to her 1.3 million followers, Karen admitted: ‘Honestly the fact I didn’t think of that while filing the scene haunts me,’ along with a laughing emoji.
