The TV presenter left Virgin Media's evening entertainment programme The Six O'Clock Show back in November and she has opened up about reasons for giving up the role
TV star Karen Koster has revealed she gave up her full-time Virgin Media role to spend more time with her family.
The mother-of-three told the Irish Sunday Mirror she could see cracks appearing in her family life due to her busy role with the Six O'Clock. She said she's happy she has now stepped back from that, but is happy to still appear on a part-time basis.Karen said: "I just can't work at that pace and commit to those hours."So what's been lovely is that they'll offer me to cover this day or that day, I'm scratching that on air itch.
"It's like I love my job but I can only do it one day a week and I just couldn't commit. You know how scary it is to leave a job because that's unusual to leave a staff job and I knew how lucky I was to have it."I could see the cracks appearing in the family in terms of everyone feeling a bit under pressure and a bit stretched.Meanwhile, Karen said she has given up her love for fast fashion so she can live more sustainably.
